DESCRIPTION
Acrobat Reader 3.0 with Search is similar to Acrobat Reader 3.0,
but it includes Acrobat Search and Acrobat AutoIndex, which can
be used to search within a collection of PDF files on a hard
disk, CD-ROM, or local area network. These additional searching
functions are available only when an index file has been created
using the Acrobat Catalog tool, which is included in the full
retail version of Adobe Acrobat 3.0 for Windows and Macintosh.
Acrobat Catalog is not available from any online services.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
-- Macintosh computer with 68020 (Macintosh II series) or
greater processor (including all Power Macintosh computers)
-- Apple System Software 7.0 or later
-- 3.3 MB application RAM for 680x0-based Macintosh or Power
Macintosh with Virtual Memory turned on; 5.3 MB for Power
Macintosh with Virtual Memory turned off
-- 8 MB hard disk space, plus 4.4 MB additional temporary disk
space available during installation
-- For Web integration, Netscape Navigator 2.0 or later (or any
other application that fully supports the Netscape APIs)
-- For viewing PDF files inside a Web browser, Netscape
Navigator 3.0 or later (3.0.1 or later recommended).
Netscape Navigator 2.0 can also be used with limitations; e.g.,
it will not allow you to submit a PDF form, and operations such
as printing PDF files from within Netscape Navigator 2.0 can
crash your Mac.) You may also be able to use other Web browsers
that fully support the Netscape APIs.

ADDITIONAL NOTES
Adobe Acrobat 3.0 with Search does not allow you to search

that functionality, you need a search engine such as those
listed on http://www.adobe.com/prodindex/acrobat/websearch.html.
